In 2022 MoLI partnered with the Scottish Government in Ireland to present a year-long collaboration highlighting the links and resonances between Irish and Scottish writing and music.
The series included discussion, reading, and performances from writers such as Andrew O’Hagan, Deirdre Sullivan, Patrick McCabe, Donald S. Murray, Kathleen Jamie, Kirsten Innes, Leyla Josephine, Máire Zepf, Megan Nolan, Roddy Doyle, and Victoria McNulty, as well as musicians Alisdair Roberts, Brigid Mae Power, Brìghde Chaimbeul, Eddie Reader, John Francis Flynn, Kris Drever, Landless, and Radie Peat. MoLI filmed a special collaborative performance between the featured Irish and Scottish musicians on the day of each event.
